We are based in Cheltenham, a beautiful regency spa town in the Cotswolds.
The Role:
We’re looking for a highly organised Production Coordinator to support the successful delivery of new game and puzzle product across our Ginger Fox and Professor Puzzle brands.
Working closely with our product development team, you’ll help ensure products are delivered to specification, on time, and to margin—while building strong relationships across our supply base.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Support end-to-end delivery of new product development to meet budget, specification and scheduling targets.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with manufacturers, printers, and agents.
- Support the delivery of the catalogue business’ Ethical and Sustainability needs, including the management and administration of our licensor’s social and ethical compliance requirements and the delivery and maintenance of brand sustainability commitments.
- Support the Production Manager and other internal departments in building new product specifications, obtaining, validating and finalising manufacturing quotes, confirming final specifications, requesting purchase orders and support the ordering of stock where required.
- Work with compliance & technical teams to ensure technical, safety, and social and ethical standards are met and incorporated into the product specifications and artwork.
- Maintain commercial and creative awareness of the product category, attending trade/consumer shows and business trips (UK and overseas) where required.
- Assist in the delivery of the agreed product direction alongside the Product Development team.
Daily Tasks:
- Define and maintain product specifications (materials, dimensions, print and decoration).
- Use in-house systems to review and record pricing and specifications.
- Regularly liaise in person and on virtual calls with internal teams to keep projects on schedule and priorities aligned.
- Manage extensive day-to-day correspondence with the manufacturing supply base.
- Support negotiation and pricing activity to meet defined margin requirements.
- Maintain and update work-in-progress (WIP) reporting.
Required/preferred:
- Experience coordinating production and/or product development activity, ideally with an overseas supply base.
- Print production knowledge required.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
- Confident communicator who can build productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness, including experience supporting pricing and margin targets.
- Comfortable working with product specifications and managing data accurately in systems.
- Understanding of compliance/sustainability requirements in product specifications (e.g., FSC or similar), or willingness to learn quickly.
- Willingness to travel within UK and Internationally where required to attend meetings and tradeshows.
